Building Lifesaving Confidence Through CPR Training

Emergencies can happen anytime, anywhere. Being prepared with the right knowledge and skills can make a life-saving difference. To strengthen workplace safety and emergency preparedness, Rowy Hardware Sdn Bhd recently invited experienced trainers ( Mr. Cher Thu Yuen and Ms.Wong Suet Yeng) from St. John Ambulance of Malaysia to conduct an engaging Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) training session for Rowy members.

During the hands-on workshop, Rowy members learned the fundamentals of recognizing cardiac emergencies, performing effective chest compressions, delivering rescue breaths, and responding confidently while waiting for professional medical assistance. The interactive practical exercises provided Rowy members with valuable real-world experience in building both competence and confidence in emergency response.

​Beyond acquiring technical skills, the session reinforced the importance of staying calm, acting quickly, and working together during critical situations. By investing in CPR education, Rowy Hardware is fostering a safer, more resilient workplace where every member has the potential to become a first responder and help save lives when every second counts. Together, Rowy is building a safer workplace one lifesaving skill at a time.
