What is Stainless Steel?

The stainless steel water pipe is also called a Welded Stainless Steel Pipe. Stainless Steel is an essential pipe in construction materials and building materials worldwide. All steels include the elemental iron and carbon composition but stainless steel includes a healthy dose of chromium that provide the alloy that stainless steel is famous for corrosion resistance. The stainless steel pipe has two grades which are SUS304 and SUS316. The only difference is adding on the molybdenum. The SUS316 has molybdenum but SUS304 doesn't have.

What is the difference of SS304?

There are one grades of stainless steel level that use in Malaysia which is SUS 304.

SUS 304 is mostly used widely version stainless steel. It was include 18% chromium and nickel 8%. For low and high temperature, it can maintain the strength and the heat resistance. 

Common uses for Schedule 10 SS 304 pipe

The stainless steel 304 can use in many filed such as storage tanks, pots and pans, residential appliances, and etc. The SUS304 stainless steel is often used in Food & Beverage (F&B).

Pros and Cons of SUS 304 stainless steel

The sus 304 stainless steel is a strongest steel comparing to mild steel in the market. It was much easier to be molded than stainless steel sus 316. Unfortunately, the sus 304 stainless steel pipe easy to corrosion when exposed to the salt water.
